I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and expect to graduate in the spring of 2021.

George Fox University is a Christian liberal arts university. That means it combines strong principles with an advocacy for exploring every avenue culture and history has to offer us. Every college has its flaws (I could tell you stories), but George Fox’s religious background and focus on the individual are not among them.

In addition to taking major courses, I am also a part of the college’s William Penn Honors Program, where students read the “great texts” of the past centuries, from Homer to Nietzsche, and discuss their implications on society and their relationships with one another. Thanks to this program, I’ve improved in my reading, interpretation, and critical thinking skills.
